Race Rules
Starting rules

the launching will be in the sea, sailing in full speed

the 24 teams will be split in 4 waves of 6 teams

The first day we will proceed to a withdraw to compose the waves

From the second day the fastest teams will start on the last wave and so for.
Finishing rules
- each team must arrive together to the finish line
- each team will manage the way they want to land their kites
- the timer stops when all the team members have landed their kites on the beach.
Injuries or technical issue rules

if someone in the team gets tired or injured during one stage of the race, the vehicle 4will stop to land the kite, pack the equipment, load the rider and follow the remaining riders.

if someone in the team has a technical issue and need to change equipment with the support of the vehicle, all team members must get out of the water and wait the problem fixed before to go back all together in the water.

if you had to get out of the water when re entering you can t stop the progression of a team coming...must let pass and go when it s clear.

a team that finish the stage with 3 atlhetes will get a penalty of 15 minutes added on their timer.

a team that finish the stage with 2 athletes will get a penalty of 20 minutes add on their timer
-
a team that finish the stage with 1 athlete will get a penalty of 25 Minutes add on their timer

an athlete can be out of one stage and come back for the next one.
Passing rules
-
if a team go faster than another the slowest team must keep in line and keep as maximum close to the coast and let the other team pass on their right further in the see.

can t block a team to pass you.
Flags

White flag : you have a team behind that is going to pass, all team members must align

Yellow flag : obstacle or rocks...all team members must go further in the sea

Black flag : obstacle or rocks...all team members must get as close as they can from the coast

Red flag : all team members must get out of the water.
