The Kite Race
OUR GOAL IS TO BECOME THE "PARIS - DAKAR" OF KITE SURFING
The "Downwind Kite Race" is an epic downwind from Combuco (Ceara) To Atins (Maranhao) of 610 km, crossing 3 states in the northeast of Brazil, where 24 teams of 4 Athletes will have to beat the timer against each other.
This event will be for amateur and professional kite surfers. We will guarantee a prize money of 150 000 r$

For whom ? : Professional and good amateurs kite surfers
How many ? : 24 teams of 4 athletes (96 participants). We will give priority to the 17 kite constructors to register their brand as a team to send 4 athletes of their choice. 7 spots will be available for open registration. For the kite constructor that registers, we will give an extra visibility in the event and include them as one of our partners.

Inscription fee : 50 000 r$ by team of 4 athletes (12 000 €)

Main event is the race by team.
630 km of downwind that you will have to complete by teams of 4 athletes (at least one women per team), in 6 stages from Combuco to Atins (Brazil). Each stage will be timed and we will sum the time of the 6 stages to see which team is the fastest.
Second event is a woo challenge by team.
During each stage we will record and save the highest jump of each team member and sum the results of each 5 stages, to see which team jumps the highest.
Third event is a woo challenge solo.
During each stage we will record and save the highest jump of each athlete and sum the highest jump of each 5 stages, to see who is the King of the air.
The woo challenge will take place at every arrival stage in front of the public at our base camp.
